Abstract. This paper analyzes the economic performance of agricultural enterprises in the Sverdlovsk region for 2022–2024. It discusses declining profitability and the need for comprehensive measures, such as cost optimization and government support. It also examines production indicators, including yield growth and the expansion of cropland through government support. Particular attention is given to strategies for enterprise adaptation to sanctions-related restrictions and recommendations for strengthening the domestic resource base, implementing digital solutions, and developing modern agricultural technologies to ensure food security in the region.
