Abstract. An important factor for the successful development of agricultural activities is currently the greening of production, the organization of production and economic activities of agricultural entrepreneurs on the basis of environmental requirements and the principles of a "green economy", ensuring the conservation of natural resources and the preservation of the quality of the environment. In Russian agriculture, agricultural commodity producers of various forms of management operate today, differing in different technological and technical capabilities, which is reflected in their influence on solving the environmental situation in the agricultural sector of the economy. In some rural areas, the negative impact of past activities on the environment is felt, when the norms of environmental legislation were not fully observed, but there are facts of negative impact on the environment and operating farms and other agricultural organizations.
