The possibility of transforming the existing exhibits of soil museums, which are material and descriptive models of soil banks into virtual 3-D models, is shown. This will allow to bring to a new level the information support for the training of specialists in the agricultural sector, including additional education at school, to obtain quality indicators in the development of fundamental interdisciplinary knowledge for unlimited time and space. The basic technology model of creating a virtual soil bank includes organizing expeditions and research activities, cameral work with soil monoliths, digitizing selected materials, choosing a form for a virtual tour, developing a single structure in graphic programs for placing soil monoliths, developing virtual tours and placing them in virtual space. A criterion of manufacturability has been developed, systemic, the indicators of which are open virtual space, a subject-activity and continuous process, creative groups of teachers of students and school students, a portfolio of students' creative and design work.
