Compensation of Losses as an Object of Knowledge of Economics and Law

In this article, the institute of compensation for losses is studied as an integral part of modern Russian entrepreneurship. Having studied a number of dissertation studies on law and economics, the author comes to the conclusion that compensation for losses is the object of these sciences. Having conducted a methodological analysis of the works of leading Russian authors in the field of civil law, the author concludes that law and economics are dualistic in the study of compensation for losses as an entrepreneurial category.
