Abstract. The growing importance of security in all spheres of human life, especially in the economy, lies in the increasing role of risk factors, uncertainties, chance and interdependence in the era of globalization. The issue of ensuring economic security attracts close attention of politicians, scientists and citizens of the country, and in Russia this problem has been relevant for several decades, starting in the 1990s, when the country moved to a new stage of development. The period of the emergence of economic security as a branch of science coincided with the definition of the collapse of the economy of the USSR, which further became the reason for the assessment of the period of decline and in January once again effectively demanded that the government has the ability to carry out reforms and transformations, which has grown aimed at however ensuring the protection of national interests. It is precisely the economic one that is why the period today is important and when it is relevant to talk about the need to maintain the structure of a relatively high level of indicators of economic security. But about the economy of such an indissolubility, the level of Russia's economic security, the main thing is to say, only growth has grown when the need for a period of time is able to fully satisfy the social and economic collapse, the needs of the population are understood.
