Abstract. The article discusses the problems of administrative liability for exceeding the established speed limit of vehicles under Article 12.9 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. Special attention is paid to the issues of proving the fact of violation, which arise when using technical means of speed recording. The article also discusses ways to improve legislation and law enforcement practices aimed at increasing the reliability of the evidence base and the effectiveness of administrative liability.
