In this article, the author cites, systematizes and explores the practice of consideration by the Arbitration Court of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the courts of verification instances, civil and administrative cases on disputes related to with the application of forest legislation. Based on the analysis, the author: identifies and examines certain categories of the most widespread disputes; notes problematic issues that arise during their consideration by the court; analyzes applicable legislation, including from the point of view of "Lex specialis"; fixes the established practice of resolving certain legally significant issues and suggests some ways to improve existing approaches to law enforcement.
