Food security is one of the key development objectives of the Russian Federation. Providing the population with high–quality food is the basis for the stability and well-being of society. In the context of globalization and climate change, this task is becoming especially urgent. The article discusses smart agricultural technologies, which are one of the most effective tools for achieving food security. They allow not only to increase the volume of agricultural production, but also to make this process more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
