The article is devoted to the problems and tasks facing soil education at the present. The issues of teaching the discipline "Soil Science" in secondary school at different levels, as well as changing the teaching concept in higher professional education, are becoming increasingly relevant. It is proposed to use new dynamic approaches, such as: promoting cooperation and agreements between secondary school and universities; active work of field seminars and practical classes with the participation of soil scientists; implementation of new technological tools such as gamification and spatial data analysis applications.
