Agricultural products are produced and processed in a personal subsidiary farm, being the property of citizens, leading a personal subsidiary farm. Such agricultural products, in addition to being used for personal or family needs, if there is a surplus, can be sold to citizens in shops, in markets, thereby replenishing the agri-food market. This article examines the state of functioning and development of personal subsidiary farms in modern socio-economic conditions and their role in the formation of the food market in the region and the country. The question of the mechanization of agricultural work is very much in demand for the development of private household plots, and in this regard, cooperatives for the processing of land can provide services. The unification of personal subsidiary plots into agricultural consumer cooperatives allows private household plots, on terms of mutual membership, to develop more stably and fruitfully in modern socio - economic conditions. SPHs are the country's internal potential in the development of agriculture. Almost half of many agricultural products produced in the country are produced in private subsidiary plots, and they are leaders in some types of products. For example, the provision with potatoes - more than 80% of the total volume, vegetables - 68% of the total production by all farms, fruits and berries - more than 70%, milk - 43%, wool and honey - more than 90%.
